For Colleen...

I saw Colleen this morning and she reminded me I had not updated the blog lately.....so this one is for you Colleen!

Lots of things going on with the start of school. One thing NOT happening are naps for the Mermaid! The "Empress" as we sometimes call her...has decided that she does not want to take naps in Pre K class. Well, this makes for a very long afternoon and evening because as Daddy says, "how come we adopted the silliest girl from China?". So, after coming in and sitting in my classroom after school today, look who fell asleep?????

Aunt Kerri came in to chat and when the Mermaid woke up...she was not very happy about being "stuck" in that position for about a half hour. Can we say cranky???

She is playing with The Pirate and is happy for now. We will see how she is in an hour.
