We received confirmation that our consulate appointment at the US Embassy in Guangzhou has been scheduled for June 24th at 9 am. Very exciting!!!!! They are working on our official travel dates. The other two famiies have been given an arrival date of June 15th in China. However, they are going to Guangzhou...we will be heading farther north into Beijing. We will wait...I hope not too long. We need to make plane reservations.

Yeah!!!! I looked back on my dates. I could arrive as late as the 19th, but that was also gotcha day and so I scheduled to arrive on the 18th, just so I didn't cut it too close! Our CA was on the 28th - so 9 days total. Same as what Jennifer is telling you.
